For more than thirty years, I have practiced criminal law as a criminal defence counsel in the Windsor area and represented many people, young and old, at all levels of court, right from the start, and even before charges are laid.
In the bail process, I have worked to get clients released from custody by the police or the courts and then lead clients through the trial process, sometimes through plea discussions, sometimes by taking cases to trial. Sometimes, the trial process is quick and other times it’s lengthy, with hearings often in advance of the trial itself. Some cases go before a jury, but most are trials before a judge. I have handled the most serious types of cases as well as many which are less serious, but for every client, I know their case is important and needs attention. I know that sound and practical advice is what clients want.
Kenneth W. Golish has practiced law in Windsor for most of his career. Although he has extensive knowledge in a number of areas of law, he devotes most of his time to the practice, study, writing and teaching of criminal law.
Individuals requiring the assistance of a lawyer in a criminal matter may retain Kenneth W. Golish at any stage of the proceeding, including before a charge is laid. He’s also available to handle appeals. For qualified individuals, legal aid is an option.
